He added: “The new race course and the establishment of the championship village at the Dubai Endurance Championship added more charm and beauty to the championship atmosphere, as the village featured all teams’ pavilions and service areas in a distinctive manner. The starting point and course also provided greater excitement for the competitions, indicating that this edition will be the strongest, given all the factors for success and the increased experiences of participating cyclists from various national teams.”

Despite the long distance of 150 km, we managed to reach the finish line and secure first place.”
Al-Mari emphasized that despite the difficulty of the competition, the team’s strong support, along with technical assistance, was a key factor in reaching the finish line in first place. He thanked His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his immense and unwavering support for cycling, especially for the Salam race. He added, “We were unlucky with the winds during this race, making it challenging for everyone, but thanks to our teamwork, we managed to win the title.”
He concluded his remarks by thanking the organizing committee for their significant role in supporting cycling through the Salam Championship and also expressed gratitude to team manager Faisal Al-Mari and everyone from Sultan Al-Sabousi to Mohammed Al-Sabousi for their continuous support.
On his part, Ibrahim Al-Ali, a cyclist from Team Trick Emirates who secured second place in the Emirati Amateur Race, stated that his achievement came after fierce competition among everyone, especially given the long distance of 150 km. In statements following the race, he said: “Despite having an accident during the competition, I managed to return quickly. This was a significant challenge for me, but my desire to reach the finish line and achieve a positive result motivated me.” Al-Ali noted that the Salam race is not easy; it is one of the toughest and strongest races, especially since preparations for it take a long time, with camps held for training, making competition fierce among everyone, especially in the final kilometers of the race.
